Welcome To Fairless Hills Fire Dept.
 
The Fairless Hills Fire Department is located in Bucks County, PA just north of Philadelphia and West of Trenton, NJ. The company is all volunteer who help protect Fairless Hills and the surrounding communities. Our apparatus consists of two Engines, one 105’ Ladder, one Fire-Rescue, one Utility, and two Chiefs Vehicles. The Fairless Hills Fire Dept. answers approximately 700 calls annually that range from Fire Alarms Systems, Structure Fires, Rapid Intervention Team Assignments, Auto and Industrial Accidents as well as providing Mutual Aid for surrounding Fire Companies .

ENGINE ADDED ON HOUSE FIRE

Station 13 along with 10, 77, 44 were dispatched to 6 Indian park rd. for a reported house fire. Deputy 13 arrived in seconds and had single story with fire showing b/c corner. Engine 13 arrived and went in service with two 1 3/4 attack lines. after an aggressive push companies were evacuated for a short time. Engine 13 Rescue 10 and Engine 77 again went interior with the assistance from 44's crew. Since 44's were the RIT team Engine 31 was brought to the scene to fill in. Once the Engine arrived the crew was sent to side A with 44's RIT supplies. The fire was knocked within 25 Min's and Engine 31 was onscene for about and hour. Photos from Lorren Barrett.

DOOR POP IN 13'S

Rescue 31 was dispatched with Rescue 13 for an auto extrication on New Falls Rd. between levittown Pkwy and Magnolia. Rescue 31 arrived and had a two vehicle accident with one occupant trapped. Rescue 31 stabilized the vehicle and went in service with a door pop to Free the victim. The Rescue crew was assisted by Rescue 13. Rescue 31 took up within 30 Min's. Photos from Lorren Barrett.


 
LADDER RUNS BUILDING FIRE

Around 23:22 hrs station 8 was dispatched for an alarm at 1248 E. Lincoln Hy. Chief 8 arrived onscene with smoke showing from a row strip center and had the assignment upgraded. This brought Ladder 31. The Box came out and brought ladders 21, 31, 8 engines 77, 7, 9 rescue 9 as RIT. Ladder 31 arrived second and went to side C to set up main and go to the roof to check for extension. The crew was told to stay off roof and bring manpower up to side A. Fire was knocked in about 10 minutes by the engine company and the Ladder was available half hour later.


 
ANOTHER FIRST DUE DWELLING FIRE

At 13:23 hrs station 31 was dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at 243 Waltham Rd. FM 234 went responding within seconds. As The FM crested the hill on Oxford Valley Rd., he radioed the county and said he had a header in the sky and requested a working fire. Engine 31 went responding with a crew in quarters. FM 234 arrived onscene and had single story/family dwelling with heavy smoke showing. Engine 31 arrived, took the plug and went into service with an 1 3/4 attack line. Seconds after Rescue 31 arrived and pulled a back up line off of Engine 31. At this time FM 234 was progressing the scene and saw conditions deteriorating and requested the crews to evacuate the dwelling. With both lines in service Engine and Rescue 31 went interior once again. Engine 301, Rescue 13, Engine 77 assisted with hooking and hitting the hot spots. Fire was found in garage port and the whole attic. The fire was under control in about 45 minutes. Engine and Rescue 31 were onscene for about 2 and half hours. Apparatus onscene were Engines 31, 31-2, 30-1, 77, Rescues 31, 13, 32 and chiefs 31, 30, 13. Tactical Box 07-04 was transmitted to 409 Longview Ave for a dwelling fire. Asst. 8 arrived on location and had a 2 1/2 story dwelling with heavy smoke showing from the attic. Deputy 77 then called for Rescue 31 for RIT. Engine 44 was returning from another call and asked to take the call. Engine 44 arrived first, dropped in and went in service with a 1 3/4 attack line. Engine 77 pulled a back up line. Rescue 31 arrived and set up for RIT, starting the saws and getting numerous equipment ready. Rescue 8 and engine 9 assisted as well. Fire was knocked down within ten minutes. Rescue 31 was onscene for about an hour.


 
LADDER BACK TO HAWK RD.

Around 07:20 hrs Ladder 31 was again dispatched for a dwelling fire at 33 Hawk Rd. Engine 77-1 went onscene with a 2 story single family dwelling with light smoke showing. Ladder 31 arrived with engine 8 and pulled a backup line. The fire was again found in the back room of the garage and was knocked in about 5 Min's. Ladder was onscene for a half hour.


 
DWELLING ON HAWK RD.

At around 09:30 hrs ladder 31 was dispatched with stations 8, 7, 77,13 for a reported dwelling fire at 33 Hawk Rd. in the Highland Park section in Middletown Twp. FM 244-5 arrived onscene and had a 2 story single family dwelling with smoke showing. Asst 9 then arrived and had heavy smoke showing from the garage. This brought Rescue 9 for the RIT. Ladder 31 arrived with engine 7 and 8 and was told to to start ventilation. Fire was found in the back room of the garage. ladder 31 was onscene for about a half hour and was available at 10:20 hrs.


 
FIRST DUE DWELLING FIRE

At 11:40 hrs. Station 31 was dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at 624 Trenton Rd. The assignment was quickly upgraded to "address of fire" bringing Rescue 32 for the RIT team. FM 234 arrived on location and had a one story single family dwelling with heavy smoke showing. Engine 31 arrived on location first, secured a water supply and went in service with an 1 3/4 attack line. Engine 77 arrived second and pulled a back-up line. Engine 301 and Rescue 13 arrived and assisted in ventilation. Fire was found in the rear master bedroom and into the attic. Engine 31's crew made a good and quick knock of the fire which was under control in about 15 min's. Crews were onscene for about 2hrs for extensive overhaul. Photos from Nicole Dippolito.

2nd SMALL FIRE OF THE DAY

Station 31 was dispatched with stations 30, 32 for a reported house fire at 15 Viking Ln in the Vermilion Hills section of Falls Twp. Deputy 30 arrived and found fire in the heater on the first floor with extension to the second. Engine 30 arrived dropped in and went interior with a couple of water cans and a dry line. Rescue 31 arrived second and went to the second floor to check for any extension. The rescue crew found no extension and was onscene to assist with overhaul.


 
SMALL FIRE AT PENNSBURY WOOD APARTMENTS

At 00:31 hours station 31 was dispatched for a dumpster fire at S. Olds and Hood Blvds. But a second later the tones were dropped once again this time for a reported apartment fire in the Pennsbury Woods complex. Ladder 31 took in the Box and the Engine took in the dumpster. Deputy 30 arrived on location and had a three story garden style apartment with a heavy smoke condition on the basement level. Engine 301 arrived first and dropped in and went in with the front bumper line. ladder 31 arrived second and was sent to search the second and third floors of the building. The fire was knocked and held to a dryer and the ladder took up around 01:10 hrs.


 
CAR FIRE IN HOLLY HILL

At 06:04 hrs Engine 31-2 with station 13 was dispatched for a reported automobile fire at 56 holly Hill Dr. Engine 13 and Engine 31-2 arrived together and found a fully involved car in the drive way. Engine 13 pulled there front bumper line and went in service. Engine 31-2's crew assisted with lifting the car's hood and flaking hose. The engine took up in 30 Min's. Photos from Lorren Barrett.

Station 31 was dispatched with stations 13, 10, 14, 77, 32, 30 for a reported building fire at the All Clean Laundromat on Woerner Av. Chief 31 arrived on scene with a one story strip shopping center with smoke showing. Companies held the fire to one dryer with no extension. The ladder was available 20 Min's later. DOOR POP IN FIRST DUE

At 18:07 station 31 was dispatched with medic 155 for a stand by an accident on N. Oxford Valley Rd. at Rt. 1 Super. Chief 31 arrived on location and had a two vehicle accident with one entrapped and requested a door pop. County then upgraded  this to an auto extrication bringing Rescue 8. Engine 31 arrived on scene and popped the passenger door to free the occupant. The company was available at 18:28.


 
SPECIAL CALL TO THE BORO

Engine 50 and the rest of the Bristol Boro Fire Companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at 1025 Chestnut Street. Deputy 50 arrived on location and had a two story middle of the row with smoke showing. With this report Rescue 31 was dispatched for a RIT assignment. Engine 50 arrived on scene first and found a small fire in the rear of the dwelling. The fire was knocked quick and the Rescue was called off for RIT and sent to cover station 51. Crews were on scene for about an hour.


 
THE MONSTER GETS WORK ON A 32's TACTICAL

Station 31 was dispatched with 32, 30 for a house reported to be fully involved in the Penn's Park section off Bristol Pike. Deputy 32 arrived onscene and had a double wide trailer with heavy smoke showing. E 301 arrived onscene first, dropped in and went in service with an 1 3/4 attack line. Fire was found on side C (charlie) of the dwelling. The fire was knocked quick. Engine 31-2's crew assisted in dousing the fire and  overhaul. Crew was onscene for about an hour.
