Tactical Box 07-04 was transmitted to 409 Longview Ave for a dwelling fire. Asst. 8 arrived on location and had a 2 1/2 story dwelling with heavy smoke showing from the attic. Deputy 77 then called for Rescue 31 for RIT. Engine 44 was returning from another call and asked to take the call. Engine 44 arrived first, dropped in and went in service with a 1 3/4 attack line. Engine 77 pulled a back up line. Rescue 31 arrived and set up for RIT, starting the saws and getting numerous equipment ready. Rescue 8 and engine 9 assisted as well. Fire was knocked down within ten minutes. Rescue 31 was onscene for about an hour.
