Station 8 was initially dispatched for an alarm system on Hydrangea Rd. A Middletown Twp. Fire Marshal arrived and had a heavy smoke condition in side the dwelling. This brought the Tactical box and Ladder 31. Engine 8 arrived and went in service with a 2 inch bumper line. Engine 77 was instructed to hit the plug and assist with backup line. ladder 31 arrived 3rd and was instructed to assist with ventilation. The crew threw a ground ladder and went interior, opening windows and hooking. The fire was found in the kitchen area and was under control within 5 min's. The ladder was available within 30 Min's.
